Young and dynamic spokesperson of state BJP Keshav Upadhye is among the leading name in the political and media fraternity-well known for his excellent media relations, understanding of the socio-economic issues of state and an image manager, knowing the pulse of the news.

Originally, hailing from Solapur, 44-year-old Keshav Upadhye, began working for ABVP during his student days. He completed his degree in mass communications from Ranade Institute, Pune. He began his career as a journalist with daily Tarun Bharat in Solapur.
He worked in Dainik Pudhari in Pune and later worked with daily Tarun Bharat and daily Loksatta in Mumbai.

Over a decade, Keshav is working with the Pradesh BJP office, managing relations with the media. He is also concurrently handling the publicity for senior BJP leader, Gopinath Munde.
He is part of the state BJP’s think-tank working on strategies and part of election campaign and major policy decisions of the party.

He was part of the study group, formed by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini—to study the naxalite movement in Chattisgarh and was part of the Prabodhini’s fact-finding committee, formed to look into the Solapur riots.

Keshav Upadhye is not only a political activist but also a committed social worker. He has recently spearheaded an NGO with his media friends. The NGO, titled Mitra Foundation is working to highlight issues related to water and tribals in the state.
