Glimpses of Development Efforts

Shri Ramcharan Bohra has been very active in initiating the developmental tasks concerning with his constituency in far reaching issues having wide socio-economic implications since he has been elected as the M.P. Jaipur (City). His efforts bear the testimony of his concerns, care and commitment to serve the constituency with utmost sincerity. His basic philosophy is:

**one for all and all for one**


Followings are mentions of some of his development efforts during last one year –


Ring Road Project:


This ambitious project envisioned by Hon’ble Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje ji in her first tenure as CM (2003-2008), was been put on hold for almost 6 years. It got regenerated when she again assumed the office of Chief Minister ship in 2013. Since this project is a brain child of the Chief Minister for which she deserves a bouquet of sincere appreciation and warm thanks. The project once completed will make Jaipur city free from congestion, create tremendous business opportunities and will generate employment. While understanding far reaching positive implications of early completion of this ambitious project, the Hon’ble Chief Minister assigned the responsibility of speeding up the project to Sh. Ramcharan Bohra ji with a timeline of 43 days during which major task of land acquisition with mutual consent and trust was to be completed. Sh. Bohra ji, while acknowledging the faith of the CM in him, did complete this arduous task within 21 days during which land was acquired through mutual consent.


Strengthening a River Basin and Water Supply:


M.P. Jaipur Sh. Ramcharan Bohra ji has initiated an ambitious project whereby Ramgarh Dam should get refilled by Mej River Basin. And also initiated linkage of Kalakh Dam and Chhaparwar Dam for increasing water supply with project cost of Rs. 250 crores.


Strengthening Railway services:


  • Electrification of Delhi –Ahemdabad railway  and sanction of Rs. 1067 crores.
  • Two new trains started –
  • Jaipur-Chandigarh Intercity Express
  • Jaipur-Phulera Passenger
  • Strengthening Gandhi Nagar and Durgapura railway station as Sub-urban railway station.
  • Central Government has allotted Rs. 3 crores in Union budget for Integrated development of Durgapura Railway station.
  • The Union budget has allotted grade-A to Jaipur main railway station on its way to become world class railway station.


Transportation:

To strengthen urban transportation, the Central Government has sanctioned Rs. 30.79 crores under urban renewable mission.

Air Services:

The land measuring 59.69 acres was acquired for expansion of runway. The issue was pending for very long time. This acquisition will make Jaipur Airport as truly International Airport where air traffic capacity will be increased manifold.

Jaipur Airport has been shortlisted as one of three Airports in the country where development work of Rs. 500 crores will be undertaken under PPP mode.

There has been strong presentation and deliberations of strengthening domestic and International Cargo movements at Terminal-I of Jaipur Airport at the proposed outlay of Rs. 430 crores.

Strengthening and Developing Civic Amenities in Jaipur through Jaipur Development Authority worth Rs. 300 crores:


Rs. 150 crores was sanctioned to preserve and protect heritage and developmental work at Goner.

Rs. 50 lac each was sanctioned for development of each 33 Gram Panchayat under the coverage of Jaipur City.

Rs. 70 crores was sanctioned for construction and renewable of roads in Bagru Assembly area.

Rs. 60 lakhs was sanctioned to develop eco-tourism at Khole Ke Hanumanji Temple.

Similar efforts are being made to develop and renew road network, drainage and sewerage in various colonies and parts of Jaipur at approx. Cost of Rs. 70 crores.
