Representing the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), he was re-elected in the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections, continuing his tenure after first winning in 2019. Rajubhaiya Nawghare is recognized for his grassroots leadership, having previously served as a gram panchayat member, sarpanch of Babhulgaon, and chairman of the Agriculture Produce Market Committee.
