Shailesh Singh is an Indian politician and a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party. He is currently serving as a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Deeg-Kumher constituency. He is the son of former Health & Industries Minister, Digamber Singh.

Shailesh Singh is an Indian politician currentlyserving as a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He represents theDeeg-Kumher constituency as a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party. He is the sonof former Health & Industries Minister, Digamber Singh. Following the 2023Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election, he was elected as an MLA from theDeeg-Kumher Assembly constituency, defeating Vishvendra Singh, the candidatefrom the Indian National Congress (INC), with 89,063 votes.

He completed his primary and secondary educationin Bharatpur district and later attended a boarding school in Mussoorie for twoyears. As an undergraduate student, Shailesh pursued medicine and completed hisMBBS from MGM Institute of Health Sciences in 2006.

After graduation, Shailesh actively engaged infamily businesses and oversaw the management of his father’s commercialaffairs. In 2007, he was appointed as the Director of the Shree DigamberNursing College in Bharatpur and the Shree Digamber Engineering College inDausa.

In the 2008 Rajasthan Legislative Assemblyelection, Shailesh successfully campaigned for his father in the Deeg-KumherAssembly constituency.

Shailesh Singh was born  in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. He is 43 years old.He is married to Dr. Kirti Singh. His father is Dr. Digamber Singh, a formerHealth & Industries Minister of Rajasthan, Chairman of Twenty Point Program& a four-time legislator. His mother is Asha Singh. Shailesh Singh is adoctor by profession. After completing his MBBS from MGM Institute of HealthSciences in 2006, he actively engaged in family businesses and oversaw themanagement of his father’s commercial affairs. In 2007, he was appointed as theDirector of the Shree Digamber Nursing College in Bharatpur and the ShreeDigamber Engineering College in Dausa.
