Bapusaheb Tukaram Pathare is a senior Indian political leader currently serving as the Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Vadgaon Sheri constituency, Pune district, Maharashtra. Representing the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction, NCP (SP)), he was elected in the 2024 state elections. Pathare previously held the MLA post from 2009 to 2014 and has served as the first corporator of Kharadi, chairperson of the Pune Municipal Corporation, and member of the Pune district council. Known as “Bapu Saheb,” he is recognized for grassroots leadership, launching the ‘Janta Darbar’ initiative to address citizens’ grievances and championing local development and civic issues in Maharashtra
